Meet Our

HeartSync Team

The HeartSync team is a passionate group of leaders, prayer ministers, trainers, intercessors, and a dedicated board of directors committed to following the mission of Christ to heal the brokenhearted. Through the transformative HeartSync Healing Approach, they work to synchronize every part of the heart into a fully healed relationship with God.

With a focus on authenticity and Divine Encounters with the Healer, our team creates welcoming spaces where individuals can connect, heal, and love more wholeheartedly.

Founder and President

Bishop Andrew Miller

Bishop Andrew Miller, LCSW, is the Founder and President of HeartSync Ministries. He has practiced as a professional individual, marriage, and family therapist since 1990. His practice focuses on resolving severe desynchronization (scriptural brokenheartedness) in people suffering from abuse and trauma. He actively incorporates Biblical healing principles with sound clinical practice.

Andrew holds two undergraduate degrees from Florida State University’s College of Arts and Sciences. One in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry and the other in Math and Science Education. He acquired his Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the School of Social Work at Florida State University.

In 2009, Bishop Andrew was ordained as a priest in the Orthodox Evangelical Episcopal Church. He and his wife Lisa subsequently founded HeartSync Ministries in 2010. In recognition of that calling, he was made a Canon Missioner of Healing in 2013. He served as the Founding Director of Tallahassee Healing Prayer Ministries for ten years – a position he left in 2016 to focus fully on HeartSync Ministries. Bishop Andrew serves as Chaplain to the Archbishop, Dr. Russell McClanahan.

Since the launching of HeartSync Ministries, he travels nationally and internationally presenting a vision for how to use the HeartSync modality in prayer ministry. Bishop Andrew currently resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Lisa, where he teaches the online HeartSync programs.

Director of Training

Sarah Ann Allen

Sarah Ann joined our HeartSync Team as a volunteer in 2017. She came on board as full-time staff in 2021 as the Director of Training, and the Administrative Assistant to Bsp. Andrew Miller. She holds two degrees from Florida State University: a Bachelor's in English and a Master's in International Affairs.

She fell in love with traveling as a child and has traveled to nine different countries by the age of eighteen. After graduating from college, she continued to explore other cultures. She backpacked through Latin America, went on a Missions trip called the World Race (where she went to eleven countries in eleven months), along with various other ministry and training programs abroad.

Sarah Ann's heart is for connecting with others and it shows as she walks alongside the HeartSync interns through the training process.

About Ordination

A special part of our Gathering in October of 2024 was witnessing the ordination of eight of our HeartSync ministers who completed every level of HeartSync Qualification and Certification and faithfully display Christ in their life and leadership. Bishop Andrew Miller and Brian Smith both did an excellent job walking us through this tradition, while keeping it holy, relational, and fun!

Community Coordinator

Zach Hooley

Zach's unique upbringing among Romanian gypsies and Mongol nomads shaped him into a globe-trotting, outdoor enthusiast, and visionary social entrepreneur. His passion for storytelling and cross-cultural connections led him to travel across 41 countries as a full-time missionary, with Youth With A Mission, dedicated to serving underprivileged communities with the physical and spiritual resources of food, shelter, tools, and power.

Following profound personal losses, Zach subsequently began a decade-long journey of personal development, trauma healing, and emotional resilience. Now residing in a handcrafted Mongolian yurt in Idaho, he continues his mission by building and nurturing the global HeartSync Community, creating spaces where individuals can connect, heal, and thrive.

In addition to his leadership and mentorship roles, Zach also designed and built our new website and community platform, showcasing his dedication to ensuring every aspect of the community's growth and outreach reflects excellence and care.

Getting ordained by Bishop Andrew was an amazing thing but then to add in seven more that are also committed to Jesus and to HeartSync was an added blessing.
I look forward to building deeper relationships with each of you who were ordained with me as well as the other fellow HeartSyncers around the world!!
