Practical Experience and Supervision

Complete a series of mentoring series, practicums, and intercession hours to develop hands-on experience. Receive feedback and guidance from our Director of Training through periodic check-ins, ensuring you stay on track and progress towards certification.

What to Expect

As a HeartSync Intern, you’ll gain the tools, experience, and support needed to confidently facilitate healing sessions using the HeartSync Healing Approach—whether in your personal ministry, church, or professional practice.

  • Application Process: Complete an extensive intern application, including personal healing questions, references, background check, and required release forms. Your application will be reviewed by our Director of Training before you begin your journey.
  • Commitment to Continuous Learning: As part of the $85 monthly subscription, you'll join monthly 2-hour live training sessions and have access to video modules, quizzes, and practice tests you can complete at your own pace. Staying actively engaged will help you get the most out of your training and growth.
  • Practicum and Mentoring Requirements: (Not included in the monthly subscription): You’ll be required to complete at least 7 practicum hours, invest in several mentoring series, and engage in intercessory prayer. Throughout the process, you’ll receive personalized feedback from HeartSync mentors and facilitators to support your growth and strengthen your skills.
  • Facilitate Healing Sessions: Facilitate 30 hours of sessions with an intercessor present, under supervision, and ultimately apply for certification to step into your role as a HeartSync Minister.

Bishop Andrew Miller, LCSW, is the Founder and President of HeartSync since 2010.

He has practiced as a professional individual, marriage, and family therapist since 1990. His practice focuses on resolving severe desynchronization (scriptural brokenheartedness) in people suffering from abuse and trauma.

He actively incorporates Biblical healing principles with sound clinical practice.
